ABOUT
Ece Yıldırım was born in Istanbul in 1985. Her artistic journey began with a major in Plastic Arts in 2003, followed by a B.A. and an M.A. degree from Marmara University’s Photography Department. Reflecting her lifelong commitment to learning and multidisciplinary growth, she has expanded her academic expertise over the years with degrees in Cultural Heritage & Tourism, Culinary Arts, and Social Media Management from Anadolu University.
Ece is widely recognized for her evocative photographic series and solo exhibitions, including Balletgraphic, 20 Days in South Korea, Incheonstagram, and her online retrospective In Memory of the Korean War, hosted by the Korean Cultural Center. She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions across Türkiye and South Korea.
In recent years, Ece’s creative path has evolved from traditional photography into dynamic visual storytelling, cultural diplomacy, and digital content creation. Merging her deep-rooted passion for cultural heritage with modern technology, she actively explores AI-driven image synthesis, prompt engineering, and SEO digital strategies. This evolution led to the launch of her YouTube channel, Prompt Writer, and a dedicated Instagram platform for cultural storytelling.
As a visual storyteller and researcher of fermentation sciences and historical archives, Ece served as the editor and designer for the commemorative 75th Anniversary of the Korean War photo album and collaborated on Turkish-Korean cultural initiatives like Project MAVI TUZ. Her dedication to culinary heritage earned her the title of Global Kimchi Ambassador (2026–2028), appointed by the World Institute of Kimchi. Today, she works as a freelance photographer, content strategist, and visual storyteller, bridging history, art, and innovation through her lens.
